PL 5.08Window Washing
The child sprays a window, wipes it with a squeegee in overlapping strokes, and dries the edges.

Invite the child. Put on an apron. Lay the towel on the floor under the window.

Look at the window with the child and point to marks and fingerprints.

Hold the spray bottle with the nozzle pointed at the glass. Squeeze the trigger 3–4 times, covering the top half first.

Place the squeegee at the top left corner. Pull it straight down in one stroke.

Wipe the squeegee blade on the cloth. Start the next stroke slightly overlapping the first. The clear strip of glass is the point of interest.

Continue across the window. Dry the edges and the bottom sill with the cloth.

Look at the window again. Hang the cloth to dry and return the materials.

Invite the child to wash a window.
