Lay out the world map mat. Name each continent.

Pick up a kangaroo figure: 'The kangaroo lives in Australia.' Place it on Australia.

Place a lion on Africa and a penguin on Antarctica, naming each.

Invite the child to place more figures.

Check with the control chart.

Show photographs of Utah animals and place them on North America.
